ASAP Rocky Gushes Over Pregnant Rihanna at 2025 Met Gala: ‘I Already Stole Her Heart’

ASAP Rocky was head over heels for his pregnant partner Rihanna at the 2025 Met Gala.

Rocky, 36, gushed over Rihanna in various interviews on the red carpet, just hours after the “Umbrella” singer revealed she is expecting their third baby on Monday, May 5. (The couple shares sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months.)

In a playful interview with Variety at the New York City event Monday night, Rocky joked about his longtime love stealing clothes from his closet. “She’s a f***ing thief, man,” he quipped. “I’mma get her back! She’s a thief. She be stealing all my favorite pieces, and I gotta steal it back.”

Asked if there’s something he’d like to steal from Rihanna’s closet, the rapper sweetly responded, “I already stole her heart, so I think I got enough.”

The “Tailor Swif” rapper further cooed over Rihanna in a red-carpet interview with Ebony magazine, who asked him what he loves most about Black women. “I love my Black woman,” the soon-to-be father-of-three proudly responded.

Us Weekly confirmed on Monday that the rapper and Rihanna, 37, are about to become a party of five. Shortly afterward, Rocky walked the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala, where he sported a sleek black suit and big smile to celebrate the night’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme as well as his baby announcement.

“It feels amazing, you know,” Rocky told the Associated Press of their baby announcement while strutting up the steps of the Met. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”

Rocky served as a Met Gala co-chair this year alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour, while LeBron James is an honorary chair. (Rihanna previously co-chaired the event in 2018 prior to her relationship with Rocky.)

Last year, Rihanna opened up about her desire to expand her family.

“[I’ll have] as many kids as God wants me to have,” she told Elle in April 2024. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

ASAP Rocky, for his part, has shared that he loves being a dad to his two sons.

“I think becoming a father helped me just get my dad swag bag,” he said in an April 2025 interview with Vogue. “I’m really on that. That’s what I do. I’m on that dad swag. I love it.”
