Andy Cohen and Carole Radziwill staged a reunion that no one saw coming.

Cohen, 57, recruited the Real Housewives of New York City alum to be the surprise mystery guest on the Monday, August 4, edition of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. Prior to Radziwill’s grand entrance, guests Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers played a game where they had to guess which Housewife she was by asking only yes or no questions. They were able to confirm that she was an East Coast Housewife — specifically from the New York franchise — before the timer buzzed and Cohen announced her identity.

“It’s Carole Radziwill!” he declared as the studio audience went wild, along with Yang, 34, and Rogers, 35, who gushed, “She’s one of my favorites!”

“Making a triumphant return,” Cohen said, embracing Radziwill, 61.

When she took a seat opposite Cohen, he asked who she keeps in touch with from her RHONY days.

Dorinda [Medley] and I share a really good friend, so I do see her occasionally,” said Radziwill, sporting chic black pants and a crisp white shirt. She shared that Heather Thomson had moved to the Berkshires, and they see each other a couple times a year. Radziwill also recently bumped into Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps at a party.

“I don’t remember, ‘Do we hate each other? Do we not?’” Radziwill recalled of the encounter, joking about the rocky history she shared with some of her former costars on the original RHONY. “We do fall back into that vibe, though. I will say.”

She added that when she’s near the other women, “It’s like I’m on the show again.”

Following her WWHL appearance, Radziwill posted a clip via Instagram and wrote, “Honestly it was so fun to be in that crazy clubhouse. … Of course @bravoandy was incredible and fun and gracious with a smile ear to ear. Even though I’m famously NOT A HUGGER the hug was the best part. That’s all folks…..no other reunions or appearances but this one was worth all my nervousness & butterflies.”

Off camera, Radziwill and Cohen recently repaired a rift in their friendship that came to a head during a 2018 RHONY reunion show when she argued that he was siding with Bethenny Frankel over her. (Radziwill departed the show that year, ending a six-season run.)

In June 2024, Cohen was profiled for a New York magazine article. In the story, one former RHONY cast member, who chose to remain anonymous, complained that the series “went from silly humor about middle-aged women getting drunk and being delusional about their status and having funny, petty arguments, to Housewives investigating and doing opposition research and making up false story lines and leaking stories on each other and trying to get one another fired.”

Later, Cohen speculated that the quote came from Radziwill, claiming on his SiriusXM radio show, “It’s not even a question that it’s Carole. But it was so weird. I was like, ‘Carole has said a lot of unkind things about me that she has tweeted and been quoted about.’ So, I was like, ‘Why are you going off the record here?’”

Radziwill addressed the speculation at the time, writing via X: “Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended. At this point why would any normal person use their name? They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response.”

By November 2024, however, Cohen and Radziwill seemed to be on friendlier terms.

“We both came to understand that our disagreements had everything to do with the high-pressure nature of the show and very little to do with our friendship, which preceded it,” Radziwill told People last fall. “Andy and I are very much on the same page now, and I’m happy about that.”
