Alix Earle keeps it real.
Earle, 24, opened up about having an emotional night while doing her makeup in her car ahead of Dancing With the Stars rehearsals.
“Is something in the air right now because I cried myself to sleep last night and I woke up and was crying again today,” she said while applying skincare.
Earle then went in with her Estẽe Lauder waterproof foundation and tapped the product into her skin. The influencer added color back into her face with Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Pocket Blush.
She noted that while she’s “taking advantage” of spending so much time in Los Angeles and isn’t “missing” her homebase in Miami, she’s also adding a lot of things to her plate.
“I feel like work wise I’m able to get a lot done here,” she said while tapping the blush into her cheeks with her fingers. “But the problem is I’m not saying no to things. My mental health just had a bit of a crash out this week but I also think I’m feeling a lot of emotions about a lot of things.”

Continuing her makeup routine, Earle added a touch of concealer to her forehead, under her eyes and around her nose to brighten the areas up. “I never cry so I’m like, ‘What’s going on? Why am I getting overwhelmed?’”
The makeup guru then gave her face a spritz of Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray before contouring her nose with the Victoria Beckham Beauty Stylus Contouring Stick.
While addressing the rumors that she and her Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy “hate each other,” Earle took a big fluffy brush and swirled it into her bronzing palette before swiping it across her skin.
“It’s so funny because I feel like we are becoming besties. I feel like we both just have sarcastic personalities and I’m like, maybe we need to chill that out because it does I guess look like we hate each other,” she said as she set her look with Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder.
“Val’s been the best. I was just telling him about my crash out and he got me these evil eye bracelets,” she said, noting that the pendant is believed to ward off negative energy.
To finish her glam, Earle curled her lashes, applied mascara and lined her lips.
“Shades on, emotions off,” she quipped.
Rumors started spreading that Earle and Chmerkovskiy, 39, weren’t getting along after Page Six reported that he was “miserable” working with her on Tuesday, September 23.
Chmerkovskiy shut down the rumors via TikTok, writing, “😂😂 The reach here is wild.”
He added, “Enjoy the views. Non [sic] of this was actually said, Alix is an absolute pleasure to work with!”
For the second week of Dancing With the Stars, Earle and Chmerkovskiy performed a jive to Lou Bega’s “Mambo No. 5.” They scored a 21 out of 30 and survived the night’s double-elimination. Baron Davis and pro Britt Stewart, along with Corey Feldman and pro Jenna Johnson were sent home.
