Netflix has always been one of the premier streamers for original content, and that title remains unchanged this fall.

One of the most highly anticipated shows of the year is the return and epic conclusion of the platform’s golden series, Stranger Things.

The sci-fi fantasy concludes with its fifth season and is broken up into three volumes of multiple episodes at a time, released separately.

But Stranger Things isn’t the only thing to look forward to on Netflix in the coming chilly months. Watch With Us takes a look at some of the best upcoming original programming.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 5

Stranger Things 5 | Official Teaser | Netflix

Nine years ago, a young boy named Will Byers (Noah Schanpp) disappeared from his town of Hawkins, Indiana, taken by supernatural forces into an alternate dimension. Working together, his friends and family searched to free him — and to keep a monstrous force from escaping.

Now, nearly a decade later, the saga of Stranger Things is coming to an end. The fifth season will take place a year after the events of the fourth season and follows our core group as they fight against the evil villain, Vecna. While bittersweet, it will be a joy to hang out with our friends from Hawkins one last time. The series has always been adept at combining genre thrills with heart and humor, and season 5 will likely be no different.

‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2

This charming original Netflix series starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell was a big hit in 2024, and a forthcoming second season promises even more rom-com laughs. With irresistible chemistry between Brody and Bell, it’s no wonder this Netflix original was renewed for a second season. Nobody Wants This toys with thoughtful ideas about interfaith romance, while offering plenty of laughs along with well-established emotional stakes
