A 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a mass brawl in a Bronx playground in which a 17-year-old was also stabbed in the stomach and shoulder, according to police.

Angel Mendoza was found with multiple stab wounds to his body when police responded to the fight at Williamsbridge Oval Playground in Norwood just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the NYPD said.

The young teen was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center but could not be saved, police said.

A 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in the shoulder and abdomen in the same brawl was taken by private means to Montefiore Medical Center where he is in stable condition, police said.

There had been no arrests as of late Tuesday, the NYPD said.

Grisly pictures from the scene show large blood stains on the ground where a large group of teenagers had been, Norwood News reports.

Detectives with flashlights were spotted searching the park on Tuesday night while multiple crime scene units parked nearby.

Several knives were recovered from the scene, according to ABC 7.

A group on bikes were seen annoying people near a basketball area and appeared to be agitating pejust 10 minutes before the brawl, one nearby business owner told the Norwood News.

A shocked 21-year-old resident said the playground — which was given a $10 million revamp in 2021 — was normally safe.

“Around here, I usually don’t see anything crazy. Maybe occasionally something happens but nothing like someone dying from a stabbing, especially like a young kid like that,” the 21-year-old man, who asked not to give his name, told the Norwood News.

In 2021, another 14-year-old boy was slashed in the Williamsbridge Oval, while in May this year, an 18-year-old man was shot dead just moments from the park.

In June last year, a 66-year-old man was stabbed to death in the park, which sees regular police patrols.
